Ingredients
- Tulsi leaves: 1-2 tsp dried leaves, or 2-4 tsp fresh leaves
- Water: 8 oz
Equipment
- pot
- mug
- heat source to boil water
- sieve, strainer, cheesecloth, or similar
Directions
- Put water in the pot, and place the pot on the heat source.
- Begin to heat water to a boil. If you’re using fresh leaves, then bruise, score, or tear them to release more of their constituents into the water.
- Place leaves in the pot, and bring to a boil.
- Once boiling, bring down to a simmer and maintain the simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from heat, and strain the infusion into the mug.
