Best Tulsi Tea in 5 Easy Steps

Below you will find the ingredients, equipment, and directions for easy and powerful tulsi tea.

Ingredients

  • Tulsi leaves: 1-2 tsp dried leaves, or 2-4 tsp fresh leaves
  • Water: 8 oz

Equipment

  • pot
  • mug
  • heat source to boil water
  • sieve, strainer, cheesecloth, or similar

Directions

  1. Put water in the pot, and place the pot on the heat source.
  2. Begin to heat water to a boil. If you’re using fresh leaves, then bruise, score, or tear them to release more of their constituents into the water.
  3. Place leaves in the pot, and bring to a boil.
  4. Once boiling, bring down to a simmer and maintain the simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, and strain the infusion into the mug.
