How to Make Spearmint Tea

Here’s an easy recipe to make spearmint tea, no fuss. Spearmint tea contains no caffeine, and in fact is very relaxing. If you want to learn more about spearmint’s medicinal and relaxing properties, I have a post about it here.

Without further ado, here is how to make spearmint tea:

Spearmint Tea Recipe

Equipment

  • mesh container (like a teabag or tea clamp)
  • mug
  • kettle

Ingredients

  • spearmint leaves
  • water

Steps

  1. Set the water to boil.
  2. Fill the mesh container with 1-2 teaspoons of spearmint leaves and place it in the mug.
  3. When the water boils, pour it over the spearmint leaves.

When the water cools down (about 10 minutes), it’s good to drink. There’s no need to remove the leaves from the water, but you can if you want.
